Simple process

How selling to AcreVista works

Four clear steps. You can pause or walk away at any point before you sign — there is no obligation to accept an offer.

Four steps

Tell us about the property

Share the county, approximate acreage, parcel ID if you have it, and anything else that matters — access, taxes, inheritance, or your preferred timeline. Call, text, email, or use the form on the home page.

We review and make an offer

We look at location, usability, comps, and open questions. If it is a fit for AcreVista, you receive a written cash offer you can take time to consider.

Title and due diligence

If you accept, we open title (and order any customary checks). Issues like liens or unclear ownership are addressed before closing — not swept under the rug.

Close and get paid

Closing is typically handled through a title company or closing attorney. You sign, funds are disbursed per the settlement statement, and AcreVista takes ownership of the vacant land.

Common questions

Straight answers. If yours is not here, call or text — we are happy to talk it through.

What if I owe back taxes?

That is common with vacant land. Back taxes are usually paid from closing proceeds or otherwise resolved so clear title can pass. We will review the amount and explain options before you commit.

What about liens on the property?

Liens need to be addressed for a clean closing. We work with title to identify them early. Depending on the situation, some may be paid from proceeds; others may require a different approach. We will be transparent about what we find.

I inherited the land. Can I still sell?

Often yes. Inherited property may need probate documents, an executor, or other paperwork before title can transfer. Timeline depends on how title is currently held. Tell us where things stand and we will outline next steps.

How long does it take to close?

It varies. Many cash vacant-land closings move faster than financed home sales, but the real driver is title: how clear ownership is, whether surveys or curative work are needed, and local processing times. We give a realistic range after we see the file — not a one-size promise.

Is there any obligation if I get an offer?

No. Requesting information or receiving an offer does not lock you in. You only move forward if and when you choose to accept and sign.

Do I need to clean up the land first?

Usually not. We buy vacant land as-is. If something unusual affects access or usability, we will say so up front rather than surprise you later.
